You can probably bang out the transmission well and cut and weld in some space for it to fit. It shouldn't be too much of an issue comfort wise, it would just be like the AWD interior. But thats probably more than you want to do.

Also have you looked into a standalone ECU? That will open up your options and actually MAKE power that is tune able before blowing the engine. Maybe even get a 2nd block and start working with a machine shop. I believe the 4gr engine can make 350hp easily with the right mods and right direction.

Haven't been inside an AWD IS to know why you're talking about but once we get the car on the lift I'll be able to get a better idea of hat size turbos I can possible fit in there.

In regards to tuning... Like I said in my last couple posts, there is a local company who is going to be taking the challenge of possibly creating a tune for this car. Can't release too much info about this yet.

Been doing some research on which snails to go with this time around. Does anyone have any experience with "comp turbo" oil less turbos or "aero charger" self contained oiless turbos? There doesn't seem to be much info on them. They're not cheap that's for sure.

I'm up in the air as to which route to go because if I go with the oiled turbos I'll have to buy an oil pump again, stainless steel braided lines, oil bungs, fittings, etc... after calculating the total, I'd be saving about $700 by going with an oiled twin turbo setup as opposed to a single self contained aero charger turbo.

If I go with a single comp oil less turbo, I still have to worry about running coolant lines all the way to the back of the vehicle and back to the front which puts me in the same situation as going with oiled turbos because I have to purchase a pump to push the coolant back to the front of the vehicle.

Decisions decisions!!

Regarding the front oil canister and its two ports; I'm really thinking you can use one as the oil feed line and the other as the return. We just need to nail down which port is pre and post oil filter. You would obviously what the freshly filtered oil fed to the turbos. Depending on how the feed line is "pressurized" by the motor itself, that one port could potentially feed your turbos...as did my Honda motor to the one turbo without issue and no additional pump. Wish I could get my hands on some good pics of the upper oil pan.

I'm still getting oil leaking from the oil level sensor area. I replaced the gasket a couple weeks back but noticed that I still have some oil residue around there. It's not the oil pan gasket as it isn't leaking around any other area. My local shop is telling me that it might be the actual sensor that is messed up and causing oil to seep out. If that is the case, I'll have to dish out $190 for that oil level sensor

I would disassemble the oil pan to find out which bung does exactly what function but that would mean that the whole sub frame has to come down as it is all tightly packed in there.

^Sucks about that sensor! I remember one doing that to me on a Ford a # of years ago.

Yeah, no sense in pulling all of that out; I'll keep looking online for pics and such.

Hey guys sorry I've been MIA... I ended up selling my Lexus last weekend so at this moment this project has been put on hold until I decide what car to purchase next. Really debating if I should jump into an newer 2IS 350 or ISF.

For now I bought a 91 miata and that's getting modded to be my track car.

The oil filter housing is part of the complete lower part of the oil pan. In order to remove the pan you would have to drop the whole subframe assembly.
