I'm the last person to ask about fluid dynamics or whatever would measure the pressure loss in a vacuum tube running "15 ft", but I can tell you that I ran the vacuum source for my mechanical Autometer boost gauge off of a Edelbrock manifold in my Civic, and the readings were spot on :
Wow, super jealous...
Hopefully I can start my setup by spring, but the turbos sit too low at the height I'm at :/
Can't wait to see the video and hear the car :3
Good luck man! Hopefully everything ends well!
^Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about my ride and on how low it currently is as well. I already scrape the mufflers, so it'll not take much to wipe out an oil return line or something with one speed bump.
No start up yet but we are finishing up some small brackets here and there to make sure the piping stays secured in place. The turbos sit pretty low as my coilovers are pretty maxed out. Hopefully that doesn't turn into a big problem. The oil lines sit above the lowest point of the turbo piping so I'm good on that.

The trickiest part of the intercooler piping is running the pipe through the motor mount area. As far as the turbos go... There is no other location to mount them other than where the stock mufflers used to sit.

I was thinking of making a custom aluminum skid plate, to protect the turbos.
I lowered the location of the MAF as mike had stated in some previous posts. The BOV is about 10" from the MAF I'll be tapping the bov vacuum line from the nipple that's coming out of the intake manifold.
More than likely I'll be towing it home tonight and I'll start it up tomorrow morning once I hook up the oil system. Still need to get a few more feet of vacuum lines anyway.
I don't see where I could put a skid plate as it'll pretty much be dragging on the floor if I add anything else lol
LOL I said this I don't know how many times in previous threads.. When I did a mockup the setup was far too low to the ground for me to consider continuing. You will def. want to do a thin gauge skid plate type fixture to protect your hardware. Do it now while its on the lift and you have a welder!
Looking good! If you get a CEL you'll want to move your MAF at least 2" upward...it looks low.
Can I race you with my boosted 250 next year when I'm in Cali... good luck finishing up this quick build man. FWIW I have my boost gauge tapped into the stock vacuum from intake manifold. Also done it off the brake booster line too and didn't have a problem.
Not familiar with CELs from the maf location either but mine is pretty much at the same distance from throttle body as the stock placement. My CEL that comes and goes is from my headers.

Hey bro I think I have you on Instagram. I used some of your intercooler piping layouts for guidance. Lol
Feel free to shoot me a text anytime when you come to Cali 951 623 3140 and we'll meet up.

Lol glad you got some use out of my pics. I noticed you used the same route for the front part, but not like there is room for many options under there either.
