Greddy Intake Quality
I've read a few times that there is some quality issue with the greddy/takeda intakes. Something to do with the clamps I believe? I'm not sure. Can anyone expand on this?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm wondering if I should just pay the premium and buy the F Sport one once its officially available. It would cost more to buy a greddy and have to fix it or possibly buy a second one right? Is it something I should worry about? I plan on keeping this car for a long time so quality is important. Thanks.

I just bought new (reinforced) couplers and some better clamps. Look through my build thread if you need to know the sizing for those. It works great, installed it a week ago. No hissing, no whistle noises like with the old couplers and clamps.

Yes they are definitely going to release an F-Sport intake. I emailed Lexus and asked them that question a week ago - they confirmed that one will be offered but didn't give any hints as to when.

the F-Sport intake for 2IS don't keep its round shape from what i heard... so i don't think even F-Sport have the quality... try JoeZ, Injen and K&N is better and if u have the money go JDM...
