I took advantage of the Hottexhaust discount and bought the Magnaflow exhaust. Install was easy especially on a car with only 350 miles. The mufflers still need to break in but I like the sound so far. Deeper than stock and very mellow. The car should have come this way stock.

How do you think this compares to the F-sport exhaust?

No idea. I have never heard the F-sport in person. If you are looking for a mild sound increase without drone, the Magnaflow is perfect. In my experience with OHC V6 motors, full exhausts (like ARK) tend to drone which I hate. For reference, I have installed catbacks on a 2004 G35 coupe, 2008 G35 sedan, and 2006 Honda Ridgeline. They all had highway drone which was intolerable. Tis the nature of high revving V6 motors.

Magna flow doesn't get the credit it deserves when it comes to the Euros and Imports - ran their exhaust on my Audi for years and not a single sign of deterioration

Just installed mine. At first I was disappointed a bit that it was too quiet. It is definitely more sound (volume / quality) than stock.

Then I went in a parking garage and opened my windows a bit, and I liked it. I forgot how noise isolated lexus cars are..

Also, I realized that when just revving while standing still with gear in neutral, the system doesn't make any sound, almost like stock. Its when there's actual engine load (accelerating, going uphill, etc) that the system makes noise.

This really is how the car should've come stock. but ~650 for this system isn't bad at all! much better than 2k that my Lexus dealer quoted me for the F-Sport exhaust anyway..

The Magnaflow mufflers will break in after about 1000 miles. It will get a little louder. I agree though. Should have come this way stock.

In my opinion, the exhaust is quite noticeable in the cab between 2200 - 3000 RPM. On the highway, you will hear the exhaust if you listen for it when you are going 80+ MPH. It isnt' clear what each person thinks "exhaust drone" is, but there is continuous exhaust noise at that speed or over.

The exhaust is louder than stock for sure. You will notice the difference. I'm not sure if I like it yet. Ive had it for over 1000 miles. I've been considering switching to Tanabe. I'm not sure if its the 8 speed but there are times it sounds horrible at low RPM/gears. In Sport+ mode it sounds great through the RPM.

I'm getting the tanabe put on today. Kind of nervous as I've never heard one in person and went on forum reviews and great history of the company as my reason to choose it.
