Default just got some info on the Blitz Supercharger..

guys i just called Blitz North America and spoke to them, and they told me that the BLitz SC they listed on the website www.blitz-na.com are mainly for the SC430 and LS430, but they also told me that it will ALSO work on the GS430!! and it will be out on sale in DECEMBER 2003 which is the end of this year...
as for the power output from the SC they told me that we should expecting a little bit below the power outut of the JDM soarer since they use 97 octane boost in japan and we got 91 here in the US.
any inputs?

Blitz is pretty stupid if they dont make a SC for the 400's.
I doubt many people with SC's and LS's would be even interested in a SC unlike a GS400 or 300 owner.
They must wanna just make big bucks off a few SC units instead of selling a bigger number.

i agree with you... the average SC430 and LS430 buyer are all above 30 something AT LEAST, so they wont even care about modding the car.....Blitz should definately make some turbo or Supercharger for the GS430/400/300 or the SC300/400

I have a feeling that the Blitz S/C will be rather pricy...

Default BLitz twin charger?

is this the twin Blitz supercharger? i seen it at 2002 TAS. The display cutaway of the rotors meshing gets a high mark in the Ooh Ahh factor... but the design of the supercharger is less than ideal to me.. if you're not using a SCREW type supercharger(ex. whipple) you're wasting your time. besides the motor now has to drive two superchargers? how much power is being sucked from your motor just to turn 2 SC's
For 2 superchargers i can't imagine what its gonna cost from Blitz.
especially since they know all the owners can afford it.

Don't forget what engine they are supercharging...it's a engine with 325lbs of torque STOCK. It's not some dinky little 4 banger with 80lbs of torque.

The parasitic factor is a moot point when you're talking about supercharging V8's..sure, if I owned a 1.2 liter I4, I would not do a S/C...but we don't own 1.2 liter I4's, no do we?

The Cost is what's going to kill it. I have a feeling that Blitz is going to try to squeeze us....but hey, if you want to play, you gotta pay...
