Question SRT supercharger or Turbocharger?

I am planning to install either a SRT supercharger or SRT turbocharger on my GS300 SportDesign. Which one do you think will be a better setup with the least amount of problems, if any? Have anyone installed any of these on their car?

I don't think they offer a supercharger any longer.

I think Bit is right, they do not offer the superchargers anymore.
Given the choice, I would take the turbo.

They have discontinued the stage 1 but still have the stage 2 thru 4 supercharger kits available.

do they still offer the superchargers 2-4 for the 400/430's as well??? I think SRT should have made a supercharger kit that they could sell, along with instructions to install the kits too so not everyone has to go down to maryland for the stuff.

They still do. I am within an hour of them so it's no problem for me to get to them.

rahtid - I agree with the other folks above... Despite what the SRT website says here , I distinctly recall their annoucement that all supercharger sales would cease. Have you actually talked to Mo or Marken at SRT about it?

My opinion should both really be available... do the turbo. The engine in the GS300 is designed to be turbocharged. I suspect you will find many more parts and options available, and more shops able to tune it.

I also do not recall anyone on ClubLexus with an SRT supercharged GS300. There are several GS400's, but I don't think I know of anybody with an SC GS300 (I do remember one IS300 they SC'd). More reason to go with the turbo GS300 - there is at least one of those (Marken's) and plenty of IS300's they have done.

Without a doubt, 100%, go with the turbo!! A turbo set up will give you the potential for much more HP. With the right supporting cast, its a matter of cranking up the boost and presto, more HP!! I have actually been contimplating selling my GS4 for a GS3, just for the sole purpose of putting a single turbo set up on it.
