just hit 106K and my car almost stalled on me for the first time last night. idle dropped dead low while I was in a drive thru.... scared me but I am happy to know there is a band aid fix.

I don't think I have the low idle problem. However, I DO notice a difference when my lights are not on. I've noticed that the car vibrates a bit more when my A/C or lights are off.
Here is what I'm seeing:
Engine COLD:
Park: 1,100 rpm
Drive: 800 rpm
Engine fully warmed up (lights off, A/C off):
Park: 800 rpm
Drive: 500 - 550 rpm
Engine fully warmed up (with lights or A/C on):
Park: 800 rpm
Drive: 650 rpm
The car feels like it vibrates the most when it's fully warmed up with the lights and A/C OFF.

have you tried adjusting the throttle cable ?

Nope, haven't looked at the throttle cable yet. But, it's not vibrating at all. The car feels fine. It's just that sometimes, it vibrates a TINY bit more that I like. When that happens, I turn on my parking lights. Problem solved.

Me too. Dealer said come in to have TPS checked, but it will be an expensive fix. I'll live with it until it stalls...

A newer ECU is the solution. The dealership where I bought the car was really great and ended up replacing the ECU with an updated version. The low idle/stalling and the engine braking/shifting problem both solved.

I just wanted to check in with you guys and say that if you read way back in this thread, I had this problem constantly before with the A/C and lights off. They replaced the charcoal canister in my fuel evap system and while it still idles low, it hasn't died on me once since - hasn't even acted like it was thinking about it. And it has been well over a year now if I recall.

If you don't have the factory repair manuals and want to try it yourself, let me know and I might be able to take a high-res pic of the page that mentions that part for you.

I finally know what you guys talking about now.
it was hard for me to notice it at first, since all my other cars got pretty loud exhaust , I paid attention to it and realize that the car never have low idle when the car is cold, as soon the car warms up the low idle occurs, although I can barely feel the shake.
