I am on the fence between the F sport intake and the HPS intake in the stock airbox with the F Sport filter. The HPS has really nice gains, 13 hp gain at 5k RPM and 16 hp gain at redline.

Has anyone had experience with both?

If you do some research on Google for this you'll see prices from several vendors. Have you tried that?

I have had the HPS intake with F sport filter for about 4 months now and I really like it. The power gain is noticeable, and you also get to keep the resonator with the HPS tube.

My air filter is dirty and might be original with 60k kms (40k miles) on it and I am getting shi##y mileage, hoping this will solve and give the car a little more umphh.

Can the F Sport Intake lid be order separately and if so, does anyone have the part number and how much and where?

I am leaning toward this setup now, did you cross border shop?

You'll find the part # for this on the vendor site listed below.
http://www.oemautopartsandaccessorie...3fe83c7cf9530/

Do a search on the web for the part # and you'll be able to see options on ordering separately and through other vendors. Or, just call the vendors.

Nope. I didn't physically go across the border if that's what you are asking. I got the filter from Ebay and the HPS system from CARID if I remembered correctly.

That link looks like the stock air box found on F sport trim cars from the factory.

I found it, it's almost the same part number as the F sport Accessory Performance Intake, but with a two letter suffix at the end: PTR03-53141-AB if anyone is wondering. There's a Lexus dealer stilling them on ebay.

Yes, you are correct about the part #.

might be a dumb question, but do you guys think this is worth it with the stock intake box?

It would seem this is just plug and play.

HPS has a dynoplot showing 15? HP gains on a GS350 with the stock air box, they say that additional gain may be attainable with an aftermarket filter. If your car is newer and your air filter is clean, I would consider starting with the HPS intake first if you want to hold off on the F Sport Accessory Performance Air Filter and the Air Box lid.

Here's my take on the F-sport intake... you pay full price then forget it. You find one used in good condition then go for it. You looking for performance gains then get what ever fits your budget. Not much to be had in terms of performance for any of them! About the only thing I can say about the F-sport intake is that it's factory and you'll have no problem passing a visual smog test. I'd get the F-sport top lid and drop in dry air filter and be done for under $150.
