F Sport drop in air filter... or the alike...

I like it. No noticeable power gains. I have the HPS intake tube, which allows you to keep the sound generator on like on the stock FSport intake uses. I also have an exhaust, so I hear that more than anything. It does sound a little deeper when you get on the throttle.

So I drove from Phoenix to SoCal and back this weekend, and I had a chance to see if the mpg changed. There was no change. 28mpg on the hwy. My mpg in the city have stayed the same too. About 20mpg.

Sorry to revive this thread yet again.. but can anyone confirm if the 2017 OEM blue F-Sport Engine Air Filter will fit a stock 2018 IS350 F-Sport AWD air box? I'm not planning on changing any tubing, looking to swap out the paper filter with the F-Sport one. Is it a direct drop-in replacement without any modifications needed?
I've only seen sites sell filters for 2017 and there's nothing showing for the 2018's except for the OEM paper engine air filters.

If they both use the same paper filter part number, then the F Sport one will fit both years.

Looks like this one is one of the Lexus dealership's ebay page. The description says "Direct replacement for stock filter part number 17801-31170"...
Does anyone know if this will fit in my 2018 without any modifications? I've read somewhere in this thread where some folks had no issues with fitment in the stock airbox and others said the filter was slightly larger so there was a small gap.
