AFE/Takeda Intake direct fit and no CEL?
I remember reading last year that some members who installed the Takeda/AFE intake said they had to go to the auto parts store to pick up an extra clamp or grommet or something to make the intake fit correctly. Wasn't sure if they just installed wrong from beginning or if some modification is needed so that the MAF fits correctly. SO for the record, are the intakes a straight plug and play 20 minute install or is some minor modification needed?
Also, for those of you who had it on for about a year or so, any CEL?
Please refrain from posting or flaming about losing power, etc. etc.
All I am asking about is fitment/install and CEL?
Thanks. Hopefully the responses stay clean

Its 95% fitment. I had to go to autozone to pick up a rubber tubing (luckily, they had the PERFECT one in the back) and some tube clamps (the ones with the screws) from home depot because the original one on 3IS was angled different and would not stay on fully, or securely (with the stock clamps).
HOWEVER, other members were able to get it on with the stock tubing and clamps no problem (it might be a 14 -> 15 slight change as r0shiro, who helped me, had no problems and his stock rubber tubing was angled differently than my 2015 tubing).
Installed for over 6 months, no CEL
For the record, I have the GReddy version.
