Welcome to CL. I see your new here so that explains the questions. I've never heard of forged internals for this car. There might be but you'll have to do some research on that. 2nd, there's only been one person to do an LS swap and he posted his work on here. He is from FL and was a fabricator so NOT easy. Even the Toyota 2JZ from a Supra has only been done a few times. Best bet is an IS350 and you'll get 100HP instantaneously. Even a supercharged IS it can cost 6-7K and about 50HP.

+1 don't waste your money on the 250. If you want speed, your best bet is to get the 350.

Any engine swaps on the IS cars are going to be tons of money and modificaiton. They make supercharger kits which work really well however power to price ratio is not as favorable. You kind of have to take the car for what it is before you do any modification

250 for looks my friend. And yes, if you have the funds, supercharge!

As to the nitrous idea, they have been done many times, but nitrous must be done properly otherwise you'll be spending money on repairs instead of mods.

Welcome to CL!
