hi!
i am wondering what kind of chip i can get and gain horsepowers???

Toyota does not use a ROM chip to store the fuel maps as most of the euporean cars. It's built into the ECU itself. The only way you can change the fuel map is thru an external piggy bag add-on chip to by-pass the factory map, i.e., SRT.

Actually Toyota uses ROM, RAM, and PROM. Please read about Toyota ECU in the technical articles section of Autoshop101 The problem is that where ins't too many people that can crack the code security to modify it.
