Hmmm 6.3 secs to 100kmh(62mph)...1 second faster that stock but still almost the same time behind the Germans (and upcoming Koreans?) in stock form.

Just set up a day to get my car tuned by Mathew from OVTuned. After all the positive feedback from the 2IS's, I decided to commit. I'll post updates later this weekend.

The only concern I have with a piggy back is our engine management software reacts fast enough to pull timing. BMWs are known to be lightning quick at this. Thats why they hold up so well under a tune. I'm sure it should be fine. The only thing I can see potentially suffering is the cat and possibly the charge pipe. But a stage 1 tune shouldn't put too much stress on things.

I've still yet to beat the car up in the canyons under very heavy uphill high speed high temp loads. Get things red hot and see how thw car reacts. I want to see how oil temps hold up and if the car does anything weird. From what I understand Lexus built a fair amount of redundancy into this car from a cooling standpoint. It should do fine I imagine. Then and only then I would subject it to a 3 psi tune.

Good to hear, the gas consumption is more because you are driving harder! I should be getting mine in 2 weeks.

I understand. If possible can you take pictures of the sensors they are plugged into? From your picture i don't see one connected to 1 of the turbo pressure sensors.

Sorry for the stupid question, but read through the whole thread, and still a little confused.
Are all these pre-programmed tunes from the factory? Like a chip?

Does anyone make a Tuneable ECU or piggyback. I know that Toyota ECU have always been ridiculous to crack. Even back in my AE86 days, my 4age ECU would always self correct any kind of tune/piggyback that was plugged into the ECU.
