IS200t tune

Yeah i hit the drag strip 2 Fridays ago and got 15.4-15.5. Tonight i did 15.4 then 14.8 and 2.108 on the 60 foot, stage 0? Its safe to say the 200t is supersupersuper sensitive to ambient and intake temp

Hello All,
I finally just finished reading this whole thread. I am very excited about the 200t. I am in the market for a new car right now. Recently just sold my Evo 9. I am stuck between the is350 and 200t mostly because I want to really see what R&D comes out with for this new platform. I would like to actually track the car and hope we will soon see what needs to be done to have 300 whp safely. It is a bummer that the is200t is on the bottom of the food chart compared to all the new turbo competitors (q60, 328i). I have the is350 in the back of my head because out of the box it has some good power that stands its ground. If I see that it's doable to make a is200t faster and be able to compete with its class, I will jump on it very quickly. Hopefully, we will see some new updates as I am readdddyyy for a new car to start modding and racing =]
Cheers!

I’ll be totally honest with you, if you are looking for a car to take to the track then you might probably want to look at other options. Lexus cars are meant to be reliable, safe and comfortable with added luxury. Modding will give the car that fun factor, but other cars of this generation are coming with a lot more horsepower like BMW and Audi. The IS200T has the potential to make a lot more power, but it’s still in the early stages and aftermarket engine modifications are now emerging. If you do plan on getting one then the TTI tune and a down pipe would give you the biggest power increase over stock and make the car a lot more fun to drive!

Yeah it was really nice seeing 14s. Its all about launching and temp.
For all we know the 8arfts could be a 500hp powertrain. Time will tell, we need someone to try to slap on a 60mm and see what happens 👍🏼

That's exactly correct. Also the time slip on the left was between me and a fbo focus st which had traction issues

Totally understand what you are saying. I'm am definitely not trying to make my Evo numbers. The reason, why I am really for Lexus, is because they look better than the 3 series BMW/ Audi and better reliability when modded. Like other people stated, I think when it the car becomes faster then the is350 and can keep up with 328i, it would be a blast! I am waiting for TTI and OV show results of over 300 and I will be sold. I think that the is200t does have good track characteristics. I would rather build a track minded car then all the bagged/ stance cars that I see

My car stage 2 from tti intake and exhaust its already faster than the is350 i couldn't record it at that moment. We all know that this car with the factory turbo has less potential than a 328i but so far fun factor now its awesome the throttle response its on point and i'm sure you will love the extra torque, we are talking about more than 40 torque to the wheels with the turbo muffler delete and the charge pipe .my car made 270wtq and sheddys 273 wtq.and we've seen 286 wtq thats really good. I'm gonna get the turbo muffler delete and the charge pipe as well as the tti stage 2+ and as soon as i have everything i'm gonna go to the dyno to show you guys the numbers hopefully we can get to the 300wtq and i'm hoping close to the 260whp.

Looks like its official. The new toyota supra will boast a 4cyl turbo rated at 248bhp and a 6 cyl turbo at 335bhp. Knowing that the supra will most likely come with the 8arfts as a base model powertrain its pretty exciting to me. When the 2.0t supra comes out hopefully we will see a lot more attention from tuners. We might even get a revised vacuum regulator
