Do you have the eco / normal / sport / sport+ on those cars? Using sport will change the shift priorities and around town driving shouldn't get you out of 5th, which will keep you out of the "drone zone"
Yes we do. I've been driving in manual mode to keep the rpm out of that drone range during city driving, but my commute is mostly highway so that's where it stays.
LOL. I don't know how you do it man. My interior shakes at low RPM, its annoying and i am still running the stock mid-pipe.
I love the way the exhaust looks, but i'm just looking for one that has minimal drone.
After 3 days of driving with this new axle-back i am suffering with a headache lol. I've been through 3 different systems and the F Sport is the best (not the price) , but I wanted to know if anyone has any input about another axle back system that has low drone? I understand that the systems with Helmholtz resonators keep the drone
I’m not an exhaust expert or anything but what about adding another resonator on top of what you already have installed? I believe only the ark system has helmholtz resonators on the axle back so I think you’re gonna have the same drone with any other brand

I agree, but the variation with the drone levels depends on the DP and mid pipe design too not only the resonators and axle back, so having the best combination is tricky

I figured that even though i am running a de-catted DP in addition to the stock mid-pipe and resonators that it would help, but the in cabin drone is loud (for my standards). ARK and Apex i are the only 2 systems I've found with the Helmholtz on their axle back, but i am not a fan of their exhaust design. I really like the clean OEM like appearance of this Circuit Werks system.
