Torque numbers look way higher than I've seen anywhere...and tq/hp doesn't cross over at 5250 rpm?

Yeah. Stock torque on a is200t is 258lbs.

Yea the whp numbers are low.The RaceChip ultimate retails for around $650

The torque numbers from the RaceChip is in NM, so 376nm converts to about 277 ft/lbs

That explains it. I would pass on that if I had a 200t. That is not much bang for your buck.

I agree!...I'm working with RaceChip to see if they can waive the restocking fee to test their product.

The Max gains may not be Huge but the difference in the power under the curve looks amazing. It may only have an extra 10-20whp but the way those curves look definitely changes the driving experience. With a solid intake system and full exhaust turbo back, this engine could def see some nice gains. I've always gotten custom tunes, I've never used a pre-programmed chip but this seems promising. I will definitely be getting full bolt-ons as soon as they are released.

Agree. Intake, and 3 inch turbo back would do wonders on the 200t. Throw on a boost gauge and a manual boost controller for 2lbs more of boost and you are set.

Look at the top-end gain on PS. Not only it gained about 50 ps at the redline, it also gained .5 to 1krpm of useful power at the top-end and another .5k rpm past the redline.

Its actually very nice improvement over stock.

I bought the turbo over the 350, not because of the money I wanted to try out a 2.0L turbo engine. I already did the 6cly adventure with a 2007 G35. That 6cly is already pretty maxed from the factory. The turbo just needs some breathing mods, some extra boost and fuel and it could very easy make Great power. Look at other 2.0L engines in the industry,

I mean Idk the specifics of the audi and all its inner workings but cars boosted from the factory normally have a good bit of power that can be pulled out of them. Plus the Tq on this turbo is great fun.

There's only so much you can do but it eventually comes down to the ability of being able to tune the ECU to go along with those mods. I would personally not get a 200t in hopes of modding it to get great hp gains. I would buy it for the gas mileage. If I really wanted to mod a 2.0-2.4 turbo car, I would stick to an Evo or STI.

I mean i bought the lexus "knowing" I'll never be able to mod or tune it. Its just such a beautiful car.

It sure is. I only wish the ECU was easy to tune to get some good hp gains.
