I second that, but I feel OV have few more tricks up their sleeves and they will be leading in terms of power output....also TTI will have major issues with remote tuning since language is a big challange

That's awesome. Please let us know how the remote fine-tuning process goes as well. Are you doing TCU when it's available?

Sheddy, could you please ask TTI whether the flash is exactly the same for a RC-200t-FSport? On the other hand, is it possible to obtain everything in Europe for ron 98? I will follow with great interest your advice and opinion for both ECU and TCU.Thanks

I am sure its the same tune file for IS/RC200t platform and from the information on their website it is compatible with both 95 and 98 RON fuel types so once that request is made they would provide accordingly. Tony from TTI is now on the forum so hopefully he can provide more insight on this.

95 RON - 91 OCT
98 RON- 93 OCT

Didn't consider that vs OV. The inability to download stock settings is a huge downside.

According to their website OV doesn't have that option either. The IS350 tune has a handheld programmer but the 8AR-FTS motor has to be uploaded via laptop.

Does that mean with the tune we have the software to edit the tune on our side? or have a professional tuner customize the tune to our car on a dyno?

Hello

The ECU communication protocols of the RC200T and IS200T are the same.

ECU control module has a fuel octane decision is mainly from the engine knock sensor and road driving calculation engine load and etc..... then detect the occurrence of knocking level.

If we put 98RON tuned file but you use 95RON so the knocking situation has increased but the protection mechanism is immediately involved to protect engine and reduce the risk of failure, About this protection mechanism We raise the standard for durability.

I hope everyone knows what I mean
