I have Win10 Pro and can log without issues and without having to enable compatibility mode. What message are you getting when you try to open the logger?
I don't get a message. It crashes and closes. The program opens up all the way for me to click on the connect button, then it will think for a second and then close entirely. Once, briefly, it actually started loading values and then closed

Could be useful to double check if the DLLs are in the same folder as the logger app and if your logger version says V1.02. Beyond these, I don't have other ideas why it would crash on you.
Per Mat at OV a Catted downpipe makes no difference. Just FYI.
Makes no difference as in, it's useless with tune or you can go either route, catted or catless with tune for gains? Also how much is the PPE catted? Last I check it was about a grand.

High flow Catted and Decatted will give about the same number when tuned. The only plus side to Decatted is that it's cheap. Yes the PPE Catted is like 900 bucks but I drive a lot and I don't want to smell like exhaust. You will get about the same HP increase as like an intake and the turbo will spool a little faster without a tune. I plan on getting the OV tune.

This is more or less the general consensus over high flow catted vs decatted.
According to Terry Burger of BMS
Stage1->JB4 upgrade kit. The main addition is a CANbus-OBDII cable which allows the tuner to go from reading boost only to reading virtually every sensor on the vehicle.
A couple quick benefits-
1) Tuning based on engine speed, gas pedal position, intake temperatures, and many other factors allowing smoother & stronger mapping.
2) Boost by speed settings (would prefer boost by gear, but I haven't figured out how to read gear yet from the transmission), which allows you to lower the boost added at lower speeds improving traction.
3) Full data logging, lets you keep an eye on how your engine is running, using a BMS data cable or wirelessly via the JB4 Mobile bluetooth adapter.
4) More robust safety systems that make running higher boost levels safer like having the tuner automatically disable itself if air/fuel leans out, if too much timing is pulled, if internal EGT calculations get too aggressive, if oil/water is not warm enough to safely run higher power levels, etc.
5) User definable boost curve by RPM allowing you to tailor the performance to your specific taste.
6) Lots of extra input/output on the JB4 board itself which will be useful for water/meth integration and future expansion.
I'm having trouble finding a vendor that will sell the JB4 upgrade for my stage 1

Thanks for your suggestion. All the files were on my desktop, so I created a folder and put all the files related to tuning into 1 folder. It still does the same thing. It will start logging or about 1 second and then crash. I also have version 1.02.
Unfortunately, I'm back to stock tune since I was not able to raise the low KCLV.
IS200t refused to learn anything above 13, once back to stock I immediately hit 21 within the first 50 miles.
You are killing me lol, I had to choose between a WRX or the IS200t.
Ended up picking the IS200t, but everytime I see a WRX I can't help but wonder if I picked incorrectly.
Grass always looks greener on the other side.
