we have made good progress on our tune update already. We are fine tuning the transmission.
I'll probably be the first to say the stock turbo is just too small if you guys want real, real power.
So we've already got a Cast piece being made to flange the stock one to T25, for our bigger turbo
With no throttle limits we are seeing 10-11psi 1rst and 2nd gear, peak 15-16psi 3rd gear, and 17-18psi higher gears.(mid range, it will not hold to rev limit)
The stock turbo cannot sustain 20+psi through mid range with no throttle limitation. It's simply too small. I have one here I have taken apart it's *barely* larger than the stock turbo on a 3.5L Ecoboost, which uses 2 turbos.
So anyways we will have a tune + bolt on replacement bigger turbo setup.
Our goal is 400whp with a EFR 6758.

Not entirely true on the tuning side. I think the real reason this platform isn't more popular to tune is because of how limited the stock small turbo is. The general consensus is people think the turbo is capable of way more power than it actually is.
Have been looking at getting my own flange made as well.. I'm looking at using a T28 directly out of an S15 Silvia... do you think this will be a good match for the 8ar if I want to make around 300-320 whp?

We actually already have a flange adapter created for T25. I would use something bigger than a standard T28. Maybe a GTX2871R or GTX2863R IWG

I know a lot of people who want to change turbo for bigger, but nothing on the market. Do you have ideas for bolt on turbo?

In best case scenario, pretty sure an adapter plate to OEM manifold will get you whatever turbo you want, assuming it fits in the tight space and has clearance for piping etc. and you can clock it the direction you need. Requires some CNC though, along with a dump elbow that can connect to OEM downpipe placement. My fear looking at turbo layouts in comparison to OEM turbo is that the placement might make this tricky in my situation... think I may have to have a whole downpipe made with the elbow built in.

I saw a while back you mentioned you were testing a turbo package for 400 whp. Any words you might be able to share about your testing? Have you seen any limitations on the built-in exhaust manifold? Any issues on reliability of parts when pushed further on the car? Is the OEM 8ar intercooler able to handle power if I decide to hold off on front mount for a while?

Hello,
We are looking into this issue. You are not the only one. It's something to do with the latest windows update. We are working on a new version of software.
Also, we are almost ready to roll out 1.02 update to people.
Finally, I will be unavailable from July 17th through the 22nd, (baby on the way!)
