IS200t tune

I love the 1.02 file so much better! It has a lot more low-end torque, throttle pedal response, transmission shift points and the trans willingness to drop to a lower gear is so much better, It's by far my favorite OV tune Matt! Heck, maybe it's the colder air but for the first time, my car will break traction on the rears and is much more responsive! That being said about 500 miles in..... I did trigger an SES light for code P0505 Idle Air Control System, I cleared it and it came back in 20 mins, For now, I not too worried about it I cleared it again and flashed to stock file and i'll see if it comes back. If it's simply just from the tune I am not very concerned about this as I can always flash it to stock before a state inspection and i see no way its hurting much of anything, I will update the tread on my results later in the week.

Agreed. The 1.02 tune has been the best feeling for me, I picked up 4mph in the 1/4 mile with it. However, it started throwing a P2119 code for throttle range which would disable my car and bring it to stop. I went back to the stock tune which is almost unbearable, so now I'm running it on the 1.01 tune until OV sorts out my problem with the 1.02. I don't break traction with any version of the tune but I also run sticky Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires.

My is 200t runs like GS430 (190) in 402 m. Without any CHIP!! Only downpipe and cold air intake))
Does this chip really working? (i dont need dyno, give me racelogic or video)

Its not a chip that you replace, its only a software flash, but you do get a OBD II dongle and USB cable to connect your laptop to the car, in order to upload the tunes to the car. Here is the company, they are down at the moment as they are in the process of moving to a new location https://www.ovtuned.com/

GS430 0-60 6.3, 1/4 mile 14.7. And that's assuming it's a brand new GS430. They've lost a bit of power since 2001 when those #s were published.

Honestly GS430 is slow by today's standards, and removing your cat is a pretty big deal cause it makes your car illegal in most places and pollute quite a bit - may result in a hefty fine. I report any and all cars in California I see or detect that are de-catted.

Another negative post from this non IS owner (who spends an awful lot of time in this forum, with nothing good to say about the IS). Haven't figured out why he is here honestly.

Hi all,
iam from Germany and have a question about the downpipe in a is200t.
In Germany we have strong emission requirements and test cycles after the dieselgate-_-
The Is200t has 2 cats in the downpipe and 2 cats in the midpipe. Which cats has which role?
I think the 2 cats in the downpipe will be to pass the cold start emissions and the 2 cats in the midpipe will be to pass the emissions on hot engine?
Is this correct?
Can i pass the Emission requirements without cats in the downpipe if i drive with hot engine to the emission controll?
best regards

I also wonder the same thing, no positive input to this or any forum about the the IS. Glad he is reporting vehicles to his state, what a model citizen.

An update on this: I finally got in touch with Rafael of OV Philippines (Mazda tuning) and have a tentative schedule for Dyno tune 3 weeks from now. Couldn't be any sooner since I'll be away til then. Will post up Dyno results once I have them. Cheers
