some impressive numbers so far. Their 350 tune only netted 25 with a cold air intake. Now if we could replace or upgrade the intercooler. Also with got tuned turbo swap could make some decent power.

they are starting development on their own hybrid turbo like that one but it’ll be made here in the US unlike that one, I’ll be the test car and they already have plans to upgrade the cooling in our cars cause they heat soak sooooo bad - there’s a safety system that make the car run super rich after 5300 rpms if your car is too hot and it killed the power to 150whp at the most

they are working on getting the flash tune down first before any transmission tuning but they will defiantly get around to that.

Any chance this reduces turbo lag?

It helps make you feel it less since the enhanced throttle tune helps but the “turbo lag” is the turbo Doesn’t start spoiling until 3000 rpms and that isn’t changed yet

A couple questions, if you happen to know:

1. How would this compare to the BMS JB4? I have that now since I am still under warranty. I 've noticed the JB4 makes more power on the low end but feels slower on the top end versus the stock tune. I do like the bluetooth phone app connectivity on the JB4 and I like that I can screen mirror the live gauges to show up on the oem infotainment screen. Anything similar on the D3 unit?

2. Does the D3 Tune easily go back to stock for warranty service?

3. Is the NGauge unit required to be connected to the vehicle after flashing?

4. Does the D3 tune eliminate the throttle limitation at low rpms?

5. When you datalog with the new D3 tune, how much boost is it reading? With the Jb4 logging and on the stock tune (Map 0, JB4 disabled) I've noticed the OEM boost gauge hitting around 15 but the JB4 logging is showing 9-10ish PSI. Not sure if the OEM boost gauge is just off or something else is going on.

Thanks!

I got mine in and just flashed it this morning. Haven't had a chance to drive it but I have had the pleasure of dealing with support and they have been phenomenal so far with a few questions I had.

Update here on post 32: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...ailable-3.html

I think we are in business for some fun! GotTuned released another hybrid turbo for our cars with more power capacity. They upgraded the Billet Compressor and Turbine Wheel from the last hybrid turbo they released. The latter was also lightened. The turbo pushes out 380 horsepower to the crank so I would estimate about 320 to the wheel.

I've been in correspondence with them and still waiting on Dyno results from their other customers. Also have to figure out my tuning solution, since I'm currently on a custom OV dyno tune and would likely have to switch to a local tuner once major parts are added. I did pay promo pricing for OV's VFTuner, but some of the maps seem pretty messed up for the 78132 NX.

On a side note, I have a catted downpipe coming in, with sensor provisions where they're supposed to be. Would I need a tune for that?

Yes I noticed an immediate difference in low end torque, the car actually pulls after the installation. It drives just like stock, just with a nice extra shove in the 3000-4500 rpm range.

I've got one for sale with the bluetooth kit. Its great being able to access the tuning, logging and OBD-II info from your phone.
