In other words you can do that if Tony comes down to your area

Audi/VW 2.0T's are quick motors and with the reflash tune they make some pretty good numbers. For now the tuning of the 8AR is a new concept and there is progress being made with more to come.

Definitely! When he does come to South Florida we would love to have a live dyno tuning session.

don't forget the passenger effect. Cars always feel faster in the passenger seat. My buddy has a acura RDX turbo and it feels faster than my rc200t :-D 240hp 260 tq, but I think it is a 2.3L. Bottom line is lexus crippled this car to sell the more expensive models, slower about the same mpg. I do believe the 200t is the cheapest lexus you can buy....? I'm not sure tho I didn't look that up. Car and driver ranks the RC last compared to its competitors q60,A5, 4series. http://www.caranddriver.com/lexus/rc. BUT TTI is doing a great job in offering us a aftermarket solution!! Thanks so much to TTI and their team.

loll why do i see this so much... yes, Lexus made a very good decision handicapping the 200. Lexus/toyota has used the 3.5l v6 since 06' its basically in every vehicle mid-size and up, especially the is350. Killing the is350 stock to stock, lets admit it, would be devastating on the v6 community and would surely lose sales. I'm sure lexus/toyota still plans on making money with the most reliable v6 engines so good job keeping it on top! However after talking with Tony in person, i believe we have a great future for the 200t platform. Tuned vs tuned, we should be right with the competition in no time.. I think the es350 is less than a grand away, but the nx200t and ct200h should be cheaper than the is200t.

I think the CT200h was ultimately canceled. bummer cause I wouldve got one for my next car. SO I'll have to resort to the NX300H. or maybe the next ES300h

How do you go from heavily tuned bmws to wanting a es300h. Is someone getting old? The ct200h is in its last year of production, it will be replaced by another hatchback hybrid

Those v6's are ranked among the best engines of the past 20 yrs. i totally get why lexus wanted to do that with the is200t but by doing so they made a car thats outperformed by the competition like the 3 series.( i think that they know that probably the niche of people that's interested in a car like the 328 or the is200t its not focused as much in performance) out of all of the lexus is200t owners i'm sure not many are modifying them. still i know many of us are looking forward to see what TTI can do with this platform. if the 2.0 engine from volkswagen can push 300whp and more than 350wtq with bolt ons ( in 93 oct) i would expect at least to make 280whp and 330ish wtq. i know the turbo is small tony told me thats like a garrett t25 more or less. I think he can surely come with a new tune because the current one its only at 19 psi. VWs are boosting 26-28 peak no problem i would say at least 23 or 24 psi for us should be really fun!!

Once you have the supporting bolt on modifications, 20 + PSI would be great!

i mean a charge pipe full exhaust downpipe and a tune should be enough for that. but hey i'm not the tuner and i dont know anything about it so TTI should see the limits but we all know that the car can be pushed a little bit further in a safely way i'm just waiting on Tony to do more testing in his car! LOL

Tony is a niche. I think he realizes the business income opportunities, when adding/retailing supporting bolt-ons with such tunes' the revenues could be double, triple. He's got more up his sleeve, more than yall think

I had a CT 2016 F Sport. The replacement was news for a while, but new news came out that Lexus actually decided to cancel it altogether. Unless you saw something different. Yeah I'm not a kid anymore--those days are gone. I just want something out of the box that's nice.
