Depending on the dealer, I've seen cost at 50% below retail. Some of the bigger retailers can get 55% below dealer. If retail is $365 and he gets a 40-50% discount his cost could be anywhere from $182 to $219 ... If he just wants to move product then he'll mark them up just to cover costs involved. To get technical with this you'd have to read what Injen's MAP policy is and advertising a price that low.

Wow, that sounds a bit defensive.
Perhaps the outrageous price and almost no effect (except as I so accurately noted) are something you prefer not to examine too closely?
Oh, wait - there's that terrifying intake roar. Of course, it's only impressive to those with the exact same car. The guy next to you in the BMW didn't turn his head.
You're up: dyno results (not provided by the manufacturer)? 1/4 mile speeds? No?

You are entitled to hold and express your opinions, as I am to hold and express mine.
You say you're accurate.. but your claims are just as unproven as the manufacturer's claims.
At least Injen posted their dyno results. Where is yours to back up your claim? Non-existent.
Whether it's likely to have such gains in reality... is another debate.
Here are some other fun facts :
Fact : you don't have the part, and you haven't tested your claims
Fact : your claim that "it's only impressive to those with the exact same car" is so laughably narrow-minded and instigative.
I don't mind a healthy dose of skepticism, but when someone brings his/her own negativity (resulting from what, I don't know – jealousy? anger? micropenis? ) into a positive thread, I don't mind being the jerk to tell him/her to take it elsewhere.
