Based on these two threads, breaking into the 12s is feasible with an I/H/E set-up, a low 60' time, and reducing weight such as removing the passenger seat.

I have seen these before ,I jus think these are the freak of nature cars, and where u live might have to do with it also like above sea level or below sea level.. Ive always heard that there is always a few cars out of a many thanks are special , built really good, vs all the others jus like it. They must have them, I think that's dope the have the good ones. But for us regular ones we have to do quite a bit to get to a 12.8.. not saying we cant but, it will Take some work.. it's not that easy to go from mid/low 13s to high 12s. Dropping almost a sec is a lot of work !

yes for the is350s that are in the 12s but if we are not then 12.7 is gunna take more than most of us is willn to sacrifice... I want to keep my interior in, I am finally thinkn of DR on my stock wheels, might even get rid of the primary cats, but it's hard to pull a lot of power out if these!! If we could find a place to make a better final drive like a 4.40 then that with the Driveshaft ,a tune, good full exhaust with headers, real cold air intake then yes maybe 12s. I'm not by any means tryn to b a Debbie downer, but I had a 92 civic hatch with a gsr 1.8 Ltr vtec motor with a fully built bottom end stroked to a 2.0 lightn crank 11.5.1 comp, blueprints balanced to 10,000 rpm full Brian crower valve train all the goodie bolt ons with a good tune , with a cable da 4.40 final drive gsr jdm tranny gutted, no back seats no carpet no seat belt brackets, all it had was all the stuff from the front seats up, traction bar the whole nine, but it was all motor and I was doing 13.5 with 2.4 60ft and it only weighs 2000lbs with me in it.. so if I did a 2.0 I wuld have bearly been in the 12s. It's a lot of work for all motor.

^If you end up going for the CF driveshaft, let us know! In the meantime, here are some pics of the thing that my man Mike installed and used for a short time : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...riveshaft.html

Thank you, that's wut I've been tryn to get across to some of these guys, it's hard to get there. That 13.4 I got I thought was pretty good for the weight of the car with the power I have to the wheels. I've been doing **** like this for a long time, I know how hard it is to go from mid/high 13s to 12s..

Can't really help you out with that honestly. I think I have one of the last ARMA kits for the 2IS. It was for the IS250 but got it to work on my IS350 with custom pipes and pulley sizes. It's just a Rotrex C38-71 supercharger. I have an 80mm pulley on there that makes roughly 7PSI. For the money I spent on the kit, about $6K in the end and that was not even close to MSRP, it's not worth it. Car still needs a tune. I can tell the engine is not that happy with the boost. Sometimes it runs well but most other times, it doesn't but no CEL's. The kit really isn't much different from the DIY kits others have done on here. The only unique thing about my kit is that it runs on one belt due to the mounting bracket design ARMA came up with.
