Real Exhaust Opinion

Te recording equipment that I have won't accurately pick up the difference in sound over the intake noise. There is a slight difference over stock. A little bit louder and more aggressive. It is ll personal preference as to what you are looking for in terms of noise. I know that adding a mid pipe will increase the drone in the cabin considerably. Up to you though and what you can live with. Good luck!

I gota chance to drive on the highway today with the Invidia. Under normal cruising conditions, 1.8-2k rpm in eco mode, the exhaust was not noticeable. In normal, sport, and sport plus the exhaust in noticeable from about 2200 rpm on until the noise starts to get mixed in with the intake sound around 4k. I don't know if I would label the sound as "bassy" but it is a low frequency sound. More like a thrumming. It is not high pitched and definitely not annoying. When cruising, I am happy to report that there is no drone whatsoever. If you are looking for a subtle aggressive increase on acceleration but no interference when commuting or traveling with easily upset passengers (wives) I would recommend the Invidia exhaust.
Awesome, would totally consider this then, i'd love to have something that growls back when i get on it, but like you said, on normal cruising/traveling no noise interference due to that since road noise will always be there. Thanks for update.

I've been driving with the exhaust for a few weeks now and have noticed that the tone has changed a little. Upon start up and engine warm up the exhaust is a little louder, per usual. The sound comes on much quicker. As the engine warms up and the exhaust settles everything has been great. There is no drone what-so-ever while driving at normal highway speeds, between 65-75, and a nice deep tone when you step on the gas. It compliments the takeda intake. The intake noise actually drowns out the exhaust above about 5700 rpm. If people are looking for a little more growl but no drone this is the route to go. I just have the axle back exhaust. I'm sure that a mid pipe would change the sound to a more aggressive growl but don't want to risk a drone. I'm happy with what I have.
