Ohh worry not. Im in the process of gaining loads of power and really really nice aeros lol and all for moderate cost i hope. From catch cans to upgraded intercooler the whole 9 yards.

And about the rasp... i think in that in the 3500 3800 rpm range you kinda hear a gorgeous sound

You should make a thread about all that. I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing your progress, I know I would.

And you’re right, there’s certain rpm ranges where it does sound good

I can do it, but i have custom downpipe. It has rust, bad smell and it didnt give any power. Nothing...no pony, no torque.

Here it is.

Also i have thing like this:
Parking
I push on accelerator to 3000 revolutions and when the revolutions decline to 1500-2000 it has some lag. I dont know what is this, maybe its because i have mechanical snag to avoid Check Engine. Sorry for my english.
And the fuel consumption is higher from 12 L/100km to about 16 L/100km. I want to believe that after disconnecting the lambda probe (ecology) these problems will disappear.

Your English is ok bro..

Maybe you need a tune with your downpipe...maybe someone else with more knowledge can chime in.

So new video. 1400 RPM look and listen.

I have a question. My downpipe is just straight pipe from turbo to exhaust. But other custom downpipes has another form. They are big and getting lower to the exhaust.
Is it ok? Or is this useless **** ?

Heat shield is back on for that clean factory look.
Quoting an old post here, what work was involved in removing the heat shield? Does that require removal of the turbo muffler?

The bracket above the assembly to the charge pipe will need to be removed, then remove the section in front of the charge pipe (just loosen the clamp) and then their are 2 nuts on the metal 90 degree angle part (Not sure what the part is called, but the tube is connected) that will have to be removed.

all of this is actually the easy part, getting to all the heat shield bolts is kind of a pain, then just slide out the upper heat shield. (you still need to remove the lower heat shield which is only 3 bolts I believe.

I just installed a catless downpipe, and have no rasp (the exhaust is stock after the downpipe, but sound has maybe increased slightly...) I am very happy with how it turned out, the exhaust smell has intensified, but you cant smell it at all in the car even while the windows are down.

How is it power wise untuned. Bit more uptop? Bit more mid range or?
Thanks.

I would say the biggest change is the reduced turbo lag and low end power.

Good to hear. Check engine light? And which pipe did you go with?

Thank you

Circuit Syndicate Catless Downpipe

No check engine light, just use an 90 degree O2 spacer on the downstream O2 sensor. I have straight piped other cars and never had an issue with that method.
