What will it take to get a GS400 in the 13s w/o F/I?

ok how do you all have a traction problem. I cant get my 98 gs4 to even chirp tires. Are you all tourque braking it and if so at what rpm? I have heard that tourque breaking is hard on tourque convertor. is that true as well

Not sure about others having traction issues, but "my" traction issues are due to my 3000 stall PI TC and my higher geared rear end. I would LOVE to mash the gas and only spin 1 rotation (grab and go) with my current setup...it would be awesome! I will buy some 10/10.5" wide rear wheels and get the stickiest tires around and see how I do; but that's after the headers. lol

my fastest was 15.2 and only mods are HKS axle back exhausts.

...just out of curiosity do you have an air intake? What about the weight of your car on track day? Did you have your full spare in there? Size and type of wheels/tires? Elevation? Sorry for all the annoying questions, just trying to paint a better picture for myself and others to show how you attained your 1/4 mile results.
