Hey guys, I'm looking for an air intake and since I'm in Canada, I cannot buy a F-SPORT Intake since it's not sold here (As per Northwest Lexus). The F-SPORT one is pretty expensive and then on top of that, I'd have to pay for shipping and customs. SO.... before making that my last option, I wanted to see what you guys think about the following Intake Systems:
AEM - https://www.carid.com/2014-lexus-is-...377218735.html
Injen - https://www.carid.com/2014-lexus-is-...377218648.html
Takada - https://www.carid.com/2014-lexus-is-...377218807.html
I understand that noticeable performance won't happen but the sound and hopefully throttle response will increase. So far I've heard lots of good things about the Injen model... Let me know what you guys think

Hey buddy,
I just wanted to mention to u that nothing better holds heat then methenor aluminum so any intake tube that is made by those are garbage..... especially intake cones..... what I have in my car is RR racing carbon fiber tube with original style JOE Z filter..... I've also added several small holes to the lower part of my filter box and to be honest my car sounds better then the F spor models... when ppl hear my car driving they think I have turbo or all kinds of mods but I only have what I mentioned above.... but most importantly is u must get a tube that is carbon fiber or made by materials that dont absorb heat well.... that way u will get cooler air coming in... that's the trick

I went with the AEM intake (pipe/filter). I think HPS pipes look the best personally and to be honest I would have went with the RRacing intake tube if it had the port for the breather hose. That was really the only thing that held me back from getting it. All in all I was pleased with AEM just don’t expect a massive gain in power from it or any of the other intakes.
