200 Lexus Gs 300. Transmission Treatment in an old Lexus
I just bought a 2002 Lexus gs 300, 127,000 miles. The transmission fluid is dark. Should I flush it? Drain it? or top it off?

Thanks in advance for your help. I would like to have your opinion about the below statements.
I read two comments that caught my eye. 1) do not mix transmission fluid ( old and new). 2) Do the flush is the best option.

Transmission fluid
Do I have to do it two times the same day?

if your having the dealer do it they might have a different suggestion on how to do it. They will also be able to look at the color of the fluids and give you better advice. Ive done the drain and refill twice thing before and it worked for me. What I have heard bad stories about is doing a power flush. So that I would not recommend

Okay, I just went to Lexus one week ago to do a drain and fill for my Lexus 2002. The technician in Lexus extracted and analyzed( in a machine ) the brownish T.F, he did not notice any metal so he proceeds to perform the Drain and Fill. My car is running very well. I did not know that this analysis exists...this is the difference between a professional service and the no professionals. I hope my experience helps other Lexus' owners.
Of course thanks to all of you for your help.
