Thanks, it's actually a wrap on the engine cover.

Not a big difference but looks cool!

Here’s my setup. I wrapped my hps pipe in dei reflect a gold and wrapped the whole box also. You can’t see it but I cut a whole in the front of the box too.

The IS200T lower box comes without baffles (like the F Sport 350 box) except there's no rectangle hole. You just take a razor blade and cut a square hole and voila you've got an F Sport Box.

Doesn't sound good on the IS200T though--sounds like a vacuum cleaner. So i just covered the hole back up.

Any pics, I'd imagine the cuts wouldn't be too clean?

What you've seen with the hole in lower box is 2IS specific.

2IS got lower box and kept stock top lit, total opposite of 3IS setup
I’ve wanted a lower f sport box on my 2015 since going to an aftermarket intake on my is250. I didn’t realize until today the lower f sport box wasn’t available after 2013. How much work would it take to make a 2013 lower box with the extra square hole work with my 2015? From pics on the internet they look very similar.

I located a used lower air box and modified it to include a velocity stack port at the front. Since it extends outward toward the headlight, I thought in might bring in a little cooler air.

I like that idea a lot! You just have a hose clamp connecting them together?

I cut the hole a little undersized so the fit would be tight. Although it probably wasn't needed, I also ran a bead of RTV silicone around the tube inside the box, just to keep everything secure. A hose clamp would work fine too.

Ok I think I may go this route as well since the older f sport box doesn’t seem like it will fit mine well. This will probably be cheaper anyways then 06-13 f sport box. Do you remember where or which size velocity stack you used?

If you're willing to drill a 3" hole, there are quite a few velocity stacks available. I went with a 2.5" hole, which greatly limited my selection, and purchased a 4" to 2.5" cone reducer. It isn't a true velocity stack, but it's sufficient for the purpose. I used a slightly smaller 60mm (2.36") hole cutter bit and gently enlarged the hole until the funnel was a tight fit. You'll probably have to cut a little off the 4" inlet, as mine was bumping into a wiring run. It's a fun little project that costs less than $20. I purchased both items at Amazon.

Sorry, it looks like the 60 mm hole cutter I linked to is sold out, but there are others available on Amazon. You're only cutting thin plastic, so any cheap cutter is sufficient.
