I bought an 01 gs300. Car would run, but no throttle. 4 codes came up, throttle motor malfunction, Tod, and pedal sensor. I found another good throttle body on eBay, and just changed the whole thing. I've changed the crank sensor, the cam sensor, fuel pump, timing belt, blah blah. The car is in really good shape. Anyway, the car will start, pedal is working now, no codes, but will start to miss, and die after about 4 or 5 min. and will not start again. If I pull the battery cable off wait a few min, it will start, idle fine, and dies again within a few min. Oh, and when it's idling, if I step on the pedal, it hesitates, and starts popping through the intake. Timing is dead nuts. I don't know what the hell is wrong with it! It acts like it's in a limp mode? Anyone have a clue as to what's going on??
