Default Exhaust curiosity..

Doing Down pipe and exhaust swap on my is200t. After getting the midpipe in I needed to run to town. Figured it wouldn't hurt anything and off I go. Man.. it actually sounded nice for the most part. Some drone at certain rpms but, zero drone at steady speed.
My main question is what effects are there if I just dumped it at the end of the midpipe?
I did play around on my way to town and back
(30min ish). So I couldn't tell much if any difference in power.

2016 is200t. Forgot to add. If it means anything
more just curious if anyone has any actual numbers, hell yeah's or hell no's...

thanks
