Default exhaust tips?

i just ordered an lsportline kit and i'm pretty sure i'll need an exhaust for it to look nice. my question is... for those of you with aftermarket exhausts how does the car sound? i have a gs300 and don't want it loud like a honda civic. i was thinking of just buying tips. whats the best exhaust tips for the stock mufflers? if anyone knows of a nice quiet exhaust recommend away....

thnx

I have magnaflow mufflers with magnaflow tips. The sound is very nice and deep from our V6 cars. If you would like to level out the sound, get high flow air filter or intake. Don't worry about the civic sounds. The only difference is that it will be a deeper sound rather than a civic REEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRR reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer. You will be hearing vrooooooooooooooooom, vrooooooooooooooooom.

Check out this link and the other one I will post when I am able to locate it. It will have sounds of my exhaust so that you can get an idea of how it is. Please not that I had a stock OEM air filter when the video was shot.

This one has sound.

Hey dbox,

No problem! Its just the magnaflow muffler and magnaflow double wall tips. It sounds deper now that I put the injen hi-performance filter in it today.

I got hooked up by a fellow 1st gen member in Southern California who always went to this muffler place. I had it all done for 300.00 including installation. I consider my car a Japanese muscle car. hehehee

BTW. If you get the Oval mufflers, it will be louder. I don't know if it will be deeper though..

Thanks

I live in California so doing the system is pretty problematic in a way. I just try to keep my car looking stock as possible.

That was a discounted price. It is usually 200.00 for the muffler and tip installed X2=400.00.
