Default Custom Intake

Had some free time on my hands today so I decided to do some work on my engine and share the results. Recently purchased the RR racing intake and I love it but I felt like the stock airbox wasn't doing it any justice since I felt like it muffled the sound a little. Coming from a short ram intake it was a big difference in sound so I decided to make my own version of the ultimate intake. Took my old K&N intake and reused the portion with the MAF sensor and cone filter. Since i was making my own version of the perfect intake i decided to use the stock sound generator as well. The sound generator works by vibrating a diaphragm in a chamber and directing the sound towards the firewall. So I spliced my sound generator as close as possible to the firewall along with an extension piece. The result was a better sounding intake note from the cabin. I can take a sound clip once the weather starts getting nice again and I can go WOT on the highway. I have a before clip with the RR racing intake, tune, headers and ARK exhaust at WOT. I'll upload that later for comparison.
