Default diff question

Has anyone ever swapped a rear end from GS300 to GS400?.

They have different gear ratio, so I do not think it's doable.

I thought someone may have done it to get the 3.916 gear ratio. One guy I work with has a sc400 with a sc300 gear in it.

For ppl with Supra TT 3.76 gear, they hit rev limiter at WOT sometimes. If you change to 3.9 ratio, you probably hit limiter from 1st to 5th gear. You need to re-calibrate the tranny ECU if you do the swap

I dont think that would happen to people running 20" wheels, do you?

Just got my car back. I put a GS3 3.91 diff in my SC430 no rev limiter!
