We do increase throttle response by about 30% on the car. We did take that into consideration with how laggy it is

The power delivery is much smoother through out the pedal, I guess my answer to your question is yes, tho I don’t recall having an issue as you describe .
I ride liter bikes and know what power bands feel like, my IS had the same feel before the tune, under 4500 rpm was flat then the car took off, that is gone, the car pulls all the way to 7200 now. Hopefully that’s what you’re looking for?

Thanks for the response. I had a couple other questions. On your website it states that "The car needs to have the latest Lexus calibration file implemented by your Lexus dealer." How would one know if that had been done or not?

Also, there seems to be some disagreement amongst other threads/posts as to how the tune effects shifting. Will the shift points still be roughly 6500 in auto mode and only change to 7200 in manual mode?

7200 manual 7200 plus auto, you have to be mindful in auto or else

I was looking at this but was trying to find someone who has done this? Is it worth the price? and do you have to leave the unit plugged in or is it a one time thing?

Wondering if anyone would be willing to loan me the unit and tunes to try out for some cash? I know that's probably a long shot .... $700 for a tune is a bit steep though...
Although it may seem expensive, I was a honda goer and the Kpro was upward of 1000 Canadian after taxes and you still have to technically get a tune unless you know how to mess about. The RR racing tune with the mygenius is fool proof as it comes with a well dialed in tune and can be furthered if you want to drop a little but more money and have it fine tuned by your local wizard for a little bit of a difference. My current opinion on this tune is, well it smacks man. I already prior to tune pulled on my buddy who has the 335 xi sedan all day I mean I have to milk it but I pull on that beemer. With the tune he doesn't stand a chance and it an 09 with the N54. The high rev limit really allows for full use of the power band and doesn't cut the power so early. 700 Canadian well spent. Can't wait to hit the track again with a new set up!

Can confirm, needle will be buried. Rev limiter will be banged.

yep running the tune and it's running pretty well. MPG is about 18-21 depending on how much I can keep my foot out of it lol

I really wish these dinsport units were a bit more open source and not locked to who sold it to you though so it can't be used for any other vehicle even though technically it can be. But anyway.......

Makes me burn through gas but that's because the pedal loves the floor. However, when cruising I've seen 8.3 L/100 km

I’ve had mine on since July this year, can’t say how impressed I am with it. RR Racing knows their stuff. I took a trip to Florida and averaged 28-30mpg on the highway, depending upon speeds of 75-85mph no cruise control. Around town I get 22-24mpg if I stay out of it. The revs really bring this car to life as well, SOP feel is incredible over stock. All these are on a ‘17 IS300 awd. Now I know mpg isn’t that much of an improvement, but the fun factor is well worth it.

What about the raised redline? Any issues with tranny slip?
