MORE POWER!!! Tell us about your power mods
Let me introduce myself, my name is Dennis with D3performance.net. We have released our nGauge tuner with many tunes for the 2GR-FSE platform. I am on here today to get an idea of what kind of mods you guys are doing to get more power from your 2GR-FSE engines. So Let's hear them!!
Cold Air Intake Tune: Max gain 25 HP and 26 lb-ft of torque Avg gain: 22.8 HP and 22.8 lb-ft of torque

I don't have a 2GR, but rather a 4GR, but here are items to get the ball rolling.
For intake there is a mix of the AFE Takeda Cold Air intake, along with the F Sport drop in filter, and the complete F Sport Intake (air box all the way up to the throttle body).
For exhaust there is a range from full exhaust all the way to just an axleback.
A full exhaust usually will start with PPE headers, then move onto a mid pipe (Invidia, ARK, etc.) then onto the axle back, ranging from the F Sport one, to Invidia, to ARK, to Tanabe, and so on.
Next level of power would be an RRRacing or OV Tune.
Next level after that is an RRRacing Supercharger kit with tune combined with a full exhaust.
And finally one member (Mesh704) had a custom twin turbo setup made.
As you can see there aren't a lot of bolt-ons, mainly exhaust and intake.
After that it's tunes and then finally forced induction.
Off topic, but do you have anything for the 2014-2015 IS250 sedan with the 4GR?

Having heard of OV Tuning over at the Mazda forum I can vouch for the brand as being great with what they do.
Typically speaking, factory airboxes are the most effective at keeping IAT's low while balancing low end torque with high end power. I wouldn't mess with a cold air intake unless it comes with a heat shield or some sort of air scoop which feeds cool air directly to the cone.
For exhaust mods you cant expect much gains unless you're talking higher rpms. More of a sound increase. I would take the car to a muffler shop and have then install a stainless steel x pipe, replace the resonators with high flows and put in either custom mufflers or a nice Tanabe axle-back.
Depending on what the stock exhaust manifolds look like, some sort of catted headers could be a feasible upgrade along with the ECU tune, but installation is certainly going to be a huge pain.
That dyno chart looks fantastic. Such a smooth and linear powerband for a V6 engine... look how flat the torque curve is even from very low rpm . That is impressive.
Releastically speaking, you're going to spend a lot of money for pretty mediocre power gains. Other than an ECU tune I would rather focus on suspension modifications and even an LSD upgrade.

Thanks for noticing the smoothness of the dyno graph. We spent a lot of time fixing the dips and smoothing it out. Is there any mods that you guys would like to see developed?

Probably suspension mods. Maybe Resonators, and axle-backs,

Even the stock(?) dyno pull relative to your tune does a lot to show how good this engine is for a v6.

Where did you guys place the Ngauge flasher?

How long has this been out? I am surprised I haven't seen much about it around these forums, being as there is so little available for these cars.
Have you done any additional runs with exhaust mods and the tune?

I know the options to increase power can be quite costly when you compare it other cars, but I feel like the 4G has potential to be something awesome! I'm debating about the F-Sport Intake ( Full System ) any advice or thoughts from anyone on this product?
