I've been thinking hard on a resonator delete, it sounds really nice (saw it on Eddie San's YouTube) but I also don't wanna irritate my neighbours and possibly get pulled over. Definitely no plans on my end for a muffler delete (legal reasons) as the Ark GRIP sounds perfect right now but I feel it kinda sounds a bit muffled. My friend advised me on high flow cats. I can only do one mod at a time for the moment. Another consideration is installing a Takeda intake but I have mixed feelings on that as it's often recommended to keep the stock intake. What do you guys think?

You could do what I did and install a exhaust valve. When open it bypasses the mufflers and when closed it's just a regular catback. In my case invidia midpipe + ark axleback. After getting used to valves open, the catback is so quiet to me now.

how does that work? do you have to get something like this https://www.ebay.com/i/302837597360?chn=ps then cut and weld between the existing midpipe / axleback? I have the full ARK system.

Yes here is a video I took. Used a external mic but the difference is hard to tell on video. Open valves is much more open and louder and you can hear the tone inside the cabin where as closed valves sounds quite muffled and no drone. Very convenient for mornings and freeways.

I opted for a vacuum actuated valve instead of electric as their motors are prone to breaking. My valve is from ECS Tuning. Tapped the lines into a vacuum source and the solenoid allows the valves to open and close on command. Put it between the midpipe and axleback yes. I believe it was the long part of the axle where its straight for a good foot or so. You'll see it in the video above.

Very minimal I’d say! Except for when you push that RPM higher, that’s where the drone is most prominent. Otherwise it’s fairly bassy and nearly quiet when you’re driving in a more relaxed manner. The drone is not too bad, for a V6 this Lexus still retains its renowned smoothness. I don’t know how it would be in a turbo but so far, I’ve been happy with my exhaust and never plan on going back to OEM.
