Default OBX MID Y PIPE Possible Defect

So I was wondering, has anyone had the right passenger side pipe connecting to the header being this low? Could this be a defect? Or is this side supposed to be like this. Please let me know your thoughts.

Left driver side is much higher and it appears correct.

Right passenger side

It looks like it was modified on the right tube where it meets the manifold.

The repair could be contributing to the fitment of the mid pipe. Not many people run the OBX midpipe even though it’s priced well and made by an affiliate of Megan Racing.

It may be possible but you would think both Headers and Mid Pipe is OBX would line up and reach on point. Also why would you say not to many people run OBX?

Because most people run Invidia or Megan midpipes. OBX is known to have issues so it may scare people off. I’ve been a member here for 5 years I think and you’re possibly the first person who has posted about owning one.

The phrase, "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

But yeah, that's a bit too low for my liking.

Is it just me, or is the left header lower? Like, is it not the midpipe, but the header?

FWIW - left/right is always established as if sitting in the car facing forward. It doesn't matter what seat you sit in.

The price was very reasonable for both the Header long tubes and Mid Y Pipe. I was not looking to spend 1k on just headers. The fitment was off a bit on the right side pipe but it was a minor fix and it did not hurt the performance or budget.

The header is sitting a little lower on the passenger side than the driver side so I wonder, a defect on the right header or a defect on the right mid pipe to the header? Hmmm? but regardless it was a quick fix and has not hurt the performance.

Curious how this sounds, what's your thoughts on the exhaust now that you have had it for some time? Any other issues you ran into?

Please click on the link below for a short video, recommend a good headset to hear it well. Not to happy with the mid pipe as it gives me a raspy sound between 2100-3k Rpms. I’m working on how to eliminate that w/o removing the mid pipe. Love the mandrel bents and the SS finish. Let me know what you think, I personally love the sound, more power and torque, next is a tune but I understand some people may differ. on the sound.Thank You for asking.
