Default need help with A03B diff and 3,615 lexus ratio

Hi guys,
I write from Italy (where, unfortunately, it is not easy to find info on this kind of car) I joined this forum some time ago, in truth, because I am looking for information on a job to do on my Supra, and I did not know if it was it is advisable to create a new topic not having a Lexus ... unfortunately I could not find the necessary information (I have read dozens of topics here, on the Supra forum and elsewhere), but I could not find the necessary information. I am rebuilding the diff. of my Supra (2000 RZ-S 2000m.y., 2JZGTE VVTi, V161 / A03B Torsed LSD 8" and 10 bolts) with stock gear ratio of 3.26 . I would like to put a shorter ratio than the standard, and, in my opinion, the ideal would be a 3.615 (which I have seen available for some Lexus models), because I think the 3.76 is too short (I have on a simple full BPU and wheels from 18 ").
I would like to know if you have any idea which Toyota / Lexus model or part number I can use for a ring and pinion gear. I have read that some crowns are thinner than Supra ones and I don't know if they can be used. on toyota epc i found these codes for 3.615 final gears:
41201-59055
41201-49135
41201-49125
and these were often compatible with more than one model (such as gs300 / 400, sc430, ls400 ...)
hope someone can give me some help
Thanks in advance
Greetings
Marco

I think the safest way to make sure it fits is to buy a used complete diff with the gears you want, then install your torsen diff into it. The diffs are the same dimensions, and will swap into the different cars, but I don't know about the insides exactly. But as long as you have the 10 bolt ring gear/torsen it should bolt in. Swapping ring and pinions could be more dangerous than just putting your torsin into a diff in place of the open gears.

I dont remember off the top of my head but does the RZ-S Diff A03B come with the rear plate cover with the fins? I agree with TrueGS3, get a Toyota diff that fits with the gears you want and switch the LSD into it. However, you might have to switch the ring gear from the diff in which you want the desired gear ratio from onto your LSD. this would be better than swapping pinion gears. If your skilled at that then by all means, but the pinion gear has to be perfectly set into the diff case. If I had th chose between the two, I would prefer swapping ring gears, not pinion gears, but depending in wht you get you might not even have to do that.

Scroll down to Differential:

Good luck.

There are two factory diff options for the GS and seven for MKIV Supras. There are differences in final drive and in some cases, ring gear size.

There are 2 carrier styles, open and limited slip, there is the 200mm and 220mm which can be identified by having a big or small companion flange or tripod, and they can be measured.... if i remember right its either 102mm and 105mm bolt circle, or 102mm and 108mm, been a while since ive done one.

Though this is a 340 rpm difference you're looking at between 3.2 and 3.6
