Default Turbo problem or BOV problem?? Help!!

I need help!! I've got an issue with either my turbo or the BOV... On acceleration, my turbo doesn't spool at a constant rate it kind of bounces while increasing speed... Anybody have any idea what may be the cause?? I've attached a small clip that shows the needle bouncing on acceleration. This is for my 2017 is200t btw.

(I tried attaching the clip but it's not working)

Well unfortunately without your video, it's hard to tell.

First thing to check is for potential codes. From what you're describing it could be as you have mentioned, a turbo or bypass valve issue, it could also possibly be a wastegate problem too. But given the amount of inputs and outputs in newer vehicles anymore, it could be a host of other issues not even related to the turbo system specifically, and the engine is doing something causing the turbo to shut down. Heck it could even potentially be a transmission related issue. All up in the air my friend.

Take it to the dealer, tell them is your vacuum regulator valve, they will replace it and add a new hose.

Make sure they do the new hose or the valve will fail again.
