Ehh not really feels the same to me. You should really just be buying it to hear that induction noise especially in the cabin it is so much louder makes the car a lot more enjoyable & obv sounds better outside also

Why do you think it doesn't take advantage of the opening ? there is a heat shield around the intake protecting it from the engine heat, also the intake is made of aluminum which dissipates heat 15x faster than stainless steel... open your hood after even just casual driving and touch your stock cold air intake tube and tell me its not scorching hot... the takeda one is also scorching hot lol BUT the point i am trying to make is a real cold air intake is re-postioned outside the engine bay ie. down low in the front bumper with a hole made so it is fed fresh air. ALSO the same opening that feeds the stock cold air intake is fed into the side of the heat shield going into the takeda intake so it in fact does take advantage of the opening and gets just the same hot engine compartment air and fresh air as the stock intake BUT it does it was that sweet induction noise that you do not get from the factory air intake due to the exposed filter and increased surface area of the filter. But boys lets focus on trying to get that 500 whose w me
