Performance Forced induction, intakes, exhausts, torque converters, transmissions, etc.

My right muffler hangs a little lower than the left one...can it be adjusted?

Question My right muffler hangs a little lower than the left one...can it be adjusted?

Is there anyway i can adjust my muffler so it is even with the left one? It hangs a little bit lower. Thanks

I would check to make sure that you are not missing a rubber ring.

Mine does too... it's not obvious, just one of those things I noticed while sitting there polishing them, it's only by like 1/4 of an inch at the most, but still annoying. And yes I checked all of the exhaust hangers and they're all in place and intact.

Take it to any muffler shop, they should be able to adjust it for about $15. (that is what I was charged when I took it to the local muffler shop here in Orange County.)

I agree. A muffler shop should be able to do this by loosening the connectors then adjusting the alignment and then retightening the connectors. I should be very cheap and should not take very long.
