Default VP's photoshopping adventures (56k, um no)

Most of these are old, as I haven't had enough time to do something complicated as of late. I have a few unfinished works, so you're going to have to bear with me..some of the pshopped image is reduced quality for the contest they were originally made for, on an evo forum. These are all the ones I have on the server, so there will be quite a few..you;ce been warned if you have a bad connection, so here it goes. Hopefully you can find something you like. I also touchup photos..but I wont post them.

VP53, how did you get the contrast and definition on the color changes so clear. What did you use? Color Balance? Please share, awesome work.

I adjust the hue/saturation/lightness

But the key is to lower the lightness. To make the color fuller.

It might be different depending on your software. But this is how I do it on Photoshop CS

No, I made the carbon fiber myself. The carbon fiber is a little harder to do, you have to make a little carbon fiber pattern (one weave). I basically do a modified version of this.

I add about 10 steps to that, but that is basically it.
