IE 6.0 picture saving ?
Ok gang, a little help here...
I have Photoshop 6 and Corel Photo Paint 7 that I use for image editing, and IE 6 as my browser. I've been trying to save images of wheels to "photochop" onto my car. The problem is, sometimes the graphics programs won't recognize the images as valid formats. I'll select "Open" then browse to the folder, and the images just don't show up. If I select "Open As", sometimes they show up, but when opening I get an "invalid format" error. This happens with both programs, and on multiple images even from the same site, one will work, then next one won't. If I use Windows Explorer to check the image properties, it seems to work fine. The only thing I see in common is IE6... is there some setting that I need to change? I'm running XP Pro by the way.

Try renaming the file to whatever it shoulda been saved as such as .jpg or .bmp
Just save the picture go to where you saved it and right click and hit "rename"
