How to Cel Shade for n00bs. :)
ok.
1--open your picture that u want to shade
2--make a new layer
3--make sure your new layer is selected and has an eye icon on the left
4--zoom in
5--by using the "line" tool and using black as your colour, start drawing lines like so
6--once your lines are done, click the eye icon next to the "background" layer. you will see your lines like this
I havent done them all yet just a few to show you.
7--make the background layer visible again.
8--using the "eyedropper" tool, select a colour that looks like about the average shade for that particular area
you cant see the eyedropper in the pic but the colour is on teh left.
9--using the paint bucket tool, paint the section with the colour.
10--do this to all the areas.
I dont think i can get more detailed than that
Finished examples;
This porsche is cutout, see? It looks all wrong!

Are you guys using the pen tool on line mode? If so how the hell do you make it editable.
I'm very new to the pen tool if that's what you're using

brendan-I used the line tool, so all my lines(including curves) are composed of little lines. On the Trueno i used the paint brush, but the lines aren't as straight. Just play around with it, see waht u like. No need to use that pen tool.
Those muscle cars look good, ES300SD! Thanks for the compliment 2jz.
