finally finished this so i thought id share. its no lexus but im an ex-nissan driver so i cant help it

Looks awesome. I wish I could find that cel shading tutorial and had the time to try it out.

i got lazy and didnt do the wheels and headlights. ill do them eventually its just so........... time consuming.

i just used photoshop. i dont have illustrator at home.

actually no. ive seen tutorials where your supposed to use the pen tool but i use a brush instead. just different sized brushes for various parts of the car.

its not hard at all to do, just takes time and patience. im trying to find a good high res pic of a soarer to do but not too much luck.

ill post a new one if i make it or post this same s14 again but with shaded wheels and lights.

so I am looking at the pic and wondering how you got the edges of the different shapes so crisp and straight with a brush.Did you first outline a section then choose the color and then come in with a brush and paint it in?

i first did the lines of the car, like i said in various brush sizes. the color of the car was put in a new layer underneath the outline so it doesnt block out the black lines.

i got the lines straight by just holding the shift button
