up to the step where you color in the taillights and etc. was easy. And then the shadowing part got me all messed up. I think it's hard for me to make clear-cut shadowing like GStrance or raynart. So I went ahead and, piece by piece, used gradient tool to fill in the body colors. It's nothing like cell-shading anymore but it's still kinda cool IMO. Any comments or suggestions? (this is my car's pic)

thanks for the tutorial. this was a 70 minute rushed job as I did it while at work. but I get the point!!!

You guys are to reliant on photoshop.
I did this little diddy in illustrator. Gives you a lot more control.
