I have a 2015 Lexus RC 350 F sport with Mark Levinson audio package. Since last year when I bought it the radio randomly cuts in and out. Back last August when I took the car for a wash the radio stopped working (still to this day). Recently after 8 months of no radio audio I took it do a dealership, they confirmed NO water damage. They ordered a refurbished AMP and the new AMP did not solve the issue with no radio/no sound/no sound dial feedback. They are now trying to say it is the radio head unit / open circuit and the fix is $6-9k. Surly there is something else?
I find it weird the radio stopped working after the car wash. It also cut out occasionally for a day or so through out the winter months before the permanent silence when it got really cold and the car started to thaw.
I know this was covered but everyones issue gets solved with an AMP so has anyone had this same situation happen.

Something similar happened to me with my 2019 RC 300, the audio would just cut out and leave me with no audio. The audio from the parking sensors and stuff would still work though. I brought it in and they checked the amp, perfectly fine. They went into a deep dive and they found a connector in the center console to have been unplugged/shorted out (not sure which one, its been a little). They put a new connector in, and it began to work perfect again. Could be something similar.
