Black Flake Metallic Paint Match
Considering a new RC that had paint damage from bird dropping on 4 body panels. All have been painted by the dealership.
1. Will the painted metallic black panels match the rest of the factory painted panels? Or it will be visible difference like metallic white which I read is difficult to match.
2. Panels painted by dealership will be as durable as factory paint over 2-3 years?

Will it match? If the dealership's body shop is good, it will match. Considering that it's a Lexus paint and a Lexus body shop, the odds are strong for a good outcome. The answer to your second question is pretty much the same. Problems with painting car panels usually happen at discount body shops where the staff lacks the training and experience needed for some of today's complex paints, or maybe they use a less expensive paint. I would think that the Lexus dealer would have high standards for a job like you describe.
I had to have paint and body work done several times on my Infrared RC350 (a paint color that is an extra cost option), and I used a well regarded body shop not affiliated with Lexus and the results were excellent.
